Information Experts Wins $1 Million Follow-on Contract for IRS Communication Improvement

RESTON, VIRGINIA, January 8, 2007—Strategic communications firm Information Experts has won an approximately $1 million project to continue to improve the communications of the Internal Revenue Service’s Modernization and Information Technology Services (MITS). The MITS group, which serves all of the IRS in a technical and operational support capacity, is codifying and refining its internal messaging, services, and operational procedures and raising awareness of its benefits and services throughout the organization.

In support of this communication improvement, Information Experts will provide strategic consulting, program and project management, writing, and design services. The contract extends through January 31, 2008.
