RESTON, VIRGINIA, May 9, 2008—Information Experts CEO Marissa Levin will be the primary speaker at the upcoming eWomenNetwork “Accelerated Networking” Luncheon on May 21st.
The objective of the luncheon is to discuss how the self-funded business model can deliver profits as well as personal satisfaction. Ms. Levin will be discussing “bootstrapping,” and she will use her 13 years of entrepreneurial experience to discuss 12 strategies and 10 solid reasons of why bootstrapping will consistently deliver better results than the funded business model.
“Bootstrapping a company to success is not a get-rich-quick approach,” Ms. Levin said, previewing her speech. “But it allows an organization to evolve in a measured, organic manner, leading to long-term stability and a difficult-to-mimic point of differentiation. If you have perseverance and confidence in your business model, the benefits are plenty.”
The event, which will be facilitated by Susan Wright, the Executive Managing Director for Tyson’s Corner, will take place on Wednesday, May 21st, at the River Creek Club in Leesburg, Virginia. The luncheon lasts from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; doors open at 11:00.
