Information Experts CEO Featured as Speaker at Two Upcoming Events

RESTON, VIRGINIA, April 7, 2008—Information Experts announced today that CEO Marissa Levin will be a speaker at upcoming events for Yes!Circle and the National Association for Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Yes!Circle’s meeting titled “Tales from the Trenches: Lessons from a Seasoned CEO,” will take place between 6:30 and 9:00 pm on April 7th at Johns Hopkins University Center in Washington DC. Ms. Levin will share her experiences and coach participants on how they can overcome their own business challenges. Other topics discussed at the meeting will include: what it takes to grow and sustain a company; how to anticipate, plan for, and navigate growth despite any economic downturn; how to create the right infrastructure of people, processes, and technology to support the growth of your business; how and when to turn away business or fire a client; what NOT to do as a small business owner wanting to grow; essential rules of engagement for working in partnerships and with friends & family; and contingency planning.

Two evenings later, Ms. Levin will be a panelist at the NAWBO’s “Marketing to the Federal Government: It Takes More than a Certification to Succeed” workshop, which will take place between 4:30 and 7:00 pm on April 9th at the Tower Club in Tysons Corner. The group will be discussing topics including: why being certified means nothing if you don't understand marketing; why government contracting requires a totally different sales and marketing strategy than any other type of industry segment; why building relationships are often more important than a company’s product or service; and why using resources like FedBizOpps.com may not be as effective as one would expect.
