Be an extraordinary training coordinator for the Standard Procurement Systems (SPS) Training Support Project. This position is based Crystal City, VA and is responsible for managing and supporting all of the training related administration. This position will report to the Program Manager.
Principal Responsibilities:

Manage training requests for all SPS products and ensure schedule are met
Coordinate between the vendor and Government to establish course schedules
Maintain website content such as training schedules and instructions to access web based training
Work with Learning Management System staff, Government staff, and vendor staff to ensure training is accessible to students
Assist students in registering for courses, accessing courses, and resolving problems with training
Track and create reports on registrations, completions, certificates by class and track, and course availability; maintain training travel spreadsheet
Provide certificates to students and other Government representatives
Coordinate with vendor and Joint Program Management Office (JPMO) staff to insure student reviews and comments are completed on time
Assist Program Manager in reviewing invoices and charges and resolving discrepancies
Recommend and implement cost saving measures and incentives for use in the overall SPS training program; Provide input to the Program Manager to assist in development of the training budget
Attend meetings to provide information on new items, issues, status of new products, and availability of training; Provide input to various end user communication vehicles
Provide recommendations for improvements to training processes, programs and materials; Review Help Desk logs and other user issues for impact on training such as corrections and new topics
Stay informed of functionality or other changes to SPS products so that training can be developed/updated and implemented to coordinate with deployment of the software changes
Required Qualifications:
Computer literacy with demonstrable proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Must be able to create ad-hoc reports
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Can easily handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be able to work cooperatively as a member of a team as well as independently with self direction
Must have patience, flexibility, a good sense of humor and be solutions-focused
Must have strong professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of a high school degree required, college degree preferred
A minimum of 2 years training coordinator experience preferred or a minimum of 2 years administrative experience required
