The Human Resources Manager is key to helping Information Experts
implement their business strategy and achieve their business goals
and objectives. This position will work closely with the executive
team to build the HR function and develop and implement human resources
practices that proactively support the business needs. This position
is integral to helping Information Experts grow and takes someone
with superior generalist and internal consulting skills.
Principal Responsibilities:
Be an Information Expert demonstrating our core values and commitment
to our clients:
Provide hands-on leadership for Information Experts’ HR
function: recruiting and selection; employee relations; legal
compliance; benefits and compensation management; training and
development
Consult to executive management on HR strategies and partner
with management and employees to implement needed HR programs
and practices
Develop and administer Information Experts’ employment
policies and procedures
Provide proactive guidance and counsel to managers and employees
on employee relations’ issues
Implement and refine the recruitment strategy including conducting
day-to-day, hands-on recruitment activities
Work with management to leverage and maximize the use of performance
management tools and total rewards strategies to drive effective
performance and retention
Design and develop deliverables per business needs and expectations
and present potential concepts
Ensure high quality deliverables are produced while working
within budget and meeting deadlines
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of
issues and problems
Balance and prioritize work to ensure critical items are addressed
Develop, maintain, and track HR measures of success
Required Qualifications:
Must be a solid business partner who can articulate how HR supports
Information Experts’ broader strategic plan and objectives
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast
paced environment managing multiple priorities
Keen sense of urgency and commitment to providing exceptional
human resources leadership and support
Well-developed communication skills and the ability to maintain
positive and cooperative working relations with management and
employees
Strong ability to creatively use resources and find solutions
to unique problems
Superior ability to track and communicate status, identify
and resolve issues, and work within budget
Must have outstanding judgment, leadership, interpersonal, facilitation
and consulting skills
Must be highly motivated, a self starter, results-oriented,
an independent thinker and a team player
Must have patience, flexibility, a good sense of humor and
be solutions-focused
Intermediate computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related
field; advanced degree preferred
PHR or SPHR certification preferred if degree is in a field
other than human resources
Must have a solid understanding of all employment related laws;
experience with EEO and AA plans is a plus
Must have a minimum of 7 years progressive HR experience in
a generalist role including working with management to identify,
develop, and implement needed HR processes, programs, and strategies
In-depth knowledge of and experience with recruiting (including
internet recruiting), selection, and retention strategies required
Experience with HRIS systems preferred
Must be able to provide samples of human resources work
